Thanks

It is that time of year.  The time to reflect on what we are thankful for.  Tonight, I am soooo thankful for my wonderful in-laws.  They went to visit my SIL this weekend and spend time with her family.  While they were there, they picked up baby bedding for us that my SIL is letting us use because when you are not having any more children, you get rid of those things.  Then when you get the surprise about #4, you start panicking at everything that you are going to have to replace and in our case since the vast majority was donated to Birthchoice, the idea of becoming a client might have been dicussed once or twice. 🙂

Anyway, since they were in Louisiana, we had a couple of things we wanted to purchase for Christmas that were easier to find there due to the location (LSU terrritory).  So, while they visited and picked up bedding, they also did a little Christmas shopping for us.  As the weekend progressed and we did a little shopping for ourselves, we kept not finding what we needed, so each time, Tigerfan would call his parents and ask could they check for it on their way home.

Tonight, they called and offered to take us to eat and then told us to come over and pick up all our treasures.  I came home with bedding for the crib, three bags of clothing from my nephew, 2 outfits for dancer girl, shoes and a turtleneck for Dancer, cologne for Tigerfan, an LSU sweatshirt for Football boy and a CD of a little song that LSU fans will adore and anyone they have played will find quite obnoxious.  We left at their house at least three Christmas presents and we now owe them approximately $120 for everything they had to get for us along the way!

Isn’t that a blessing.  The Lord truly does provide so much more than we could ever ask or imagine!  I so often take little things for granted, but tonight, I just want to say how grateful I am for free babysitting, personal shoppers, delivery service and storage facilities willingly offered…just because they love us!
